An IP solution was used to cover the wide area application, with sites as far as 100 miles apart, so that much of the original CCTV infrastructure was re-used.
The ongoing project will eventually encompass all of the Medical School’s 300+ CCTV cameras.
It will use IndigoVision’s Control Center management software for viewing live and recorded video, and three IndigoVision NVRs for viewing and analysis. These can be viewed from any Control Center workstation. Over 38 Terabytes of storage are provided in a campus datacentre, providing more than 30 days of recordings from all cameras.
