icomply and AMG-Panogenics seal strategic technology partnership

AMG-Panogenics (the British manufacturer of megapixel cameras) and icomply – the UK-based software developers of the Integrated Security Application platform V-TAS Pro – have struck a technology partnership agreement.

Under the terms of the deal, icomply has committed to fully integrating AMG-Panogenics’ HD camera technology into the V-TAS Pro PSIM software platform to enable “seamless control” of the AMG-Panogenics product range through the V-TAS Pro software.

Michael Gallagher, icomply’s director of business development, stated: “Over the past 12 months, we’ve extended our integration portfolio extensively to include over 100 equipment manufacturers who produce DVRs and NVRs through to IP and HD cameras. We feel that AMG-Panogenics’ product range complements the open platform integration that we actively promote at icomply.”

Gallagher added: “It’s icomply’s intention to expand its portfolio of equipment manufacturers over the coming months in order to enable our customers to fully integrate security applications in the V-TAS Pro PSIM software platform.”

Fantastic match for applications

Also speaking about this new partnership, David Myers – the CTO of AMG-Panogenics – explained: “icomply’s client base is a fantastic match in terms of applications for PanoCam360 and we’re looking forward to a fruitful partnership”.

Commenting specifically on his own company’s solutions, Myers said: “PanoCam360 streams 12.5 frames per second and the on-board de-warping reduces the processing requirement back in the Control Room. Offering up to 14 de-warped video streams/independent camera views simultaneously alongside the full resolution, fish-eye view makes PanoCam360 the most powerful and versatile 360 degree camera range available.”

Myers went on to state: “It provides complete situational awareness from a single camera. The camera is completely developed and manufactured in the UK and works on an open software platform, which makes it very easy to integrate, and the SDK we provide facilitates de-warping and enables electronic-PTZ playback.”

Consultative approach to the fore

icomply uses a consultative approach to deliver cost-effective security solutions for its customers, designing bespoke integration packages to suit specific Control Room requirements.

For its part, the V-TAS Pro solution integrates with ‘off the shelf’ technologies and existing hardware, including analogue systems. A comprehensive range of software-driven modules are available to create a “seamless Control Room environment” which allows for icomply’s customers to keep their existing security infrastructure, thus making state-of-the-art technology upgrades more affordable.
