IFSEC & FIREX Awards 2013 Finalists Announced
The finalists for the 2013 IFSEC & FIREX Awards have been revealed ahead of the May 13 ceremony.
Judges from across the fire and security industries included Graham Ellicott from the FIA, Wilf Butcher from the ASFP, Jeff Little from the National Security Inspectorate, and Mike Smalley of the MoD Security Services Group.
Leading the field are Quadrant Security Group, with two nominations in the Security Project or Installation of the Year category; IFC Group, with two nominations for Fire Safety Engineering Solution of the Year; and Oysta Technology, with two nominations in the the Lone Worker Protection Solution of the Year category.
Another standout nomination is LOCOG for venue security at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. CCTV Camera Equipment of the Year is a particularly competitive field, including entries from Bosch, Panasonic, and Sony.
