Security Innovation in Action: Video Tour of AXIS Communications HQ in Chapters

We went behind the scenes at the Swedish headquarters of IP innovators AXIS Communications to film the inaugural edition of our IFSEC Innovators series.

Time and again visitors to IFSEC International tell us they crave innovation more than anything else – but what exactly does ‘innovation’ mean in the security industry?

That’s exactly what triggered our trip to Sweden’s oldest city, where the technologies of tomorrow are being developed by one of the industry’s most venerable names.

Speaking to leading figures from AXIS Communications as well as seeing the company’s testing procedures and cameras in action, we got to the heart of the cultural, commercial and technological factors that drive innovation in the security sector.

Below the documentary-style video is divided into sections centred around: innovation, history, partnerships and testing.

Innovation

In the first section IFSEC Global is given privileged access to AXIS Communications’ heardquarters in Lund, Sweden.

History

Part two sees reporter Natasha Marsh give the lowdown on a history of pioneering products
in one of the industry’s oldest companies and interview its founder, 2013’s most influential person in security Martin Gren.

Partnerships
