98% Club tees off for another successful round

The 12 hole Texas Scramble competition was won by the Cooper Menvier Team, Phil Rodell, David Ripley, Jim Gough and John McKnight.
The above 22 handicap section of the 18 hole Stableford competition was won by Gary O’Brien, with Steven Lowry second, and Phil Rodell in third place.
The winner of the below 22 handicap section was Dave Robertson, for the second year running. Keith Avey came second with Dave Smith in third place. The longest drive was won by Neil Armstrong, and nearest the pin on the 12th hole was Keith Avey, with David Ripley nearest the pin on the 15th hole.
After the golf, the players retired for an evening of wining and dining, accompanied by music and comic entertainment.
