Described as the first phase of a continuous programme of development aimed at integrating the benefits of mechanical master key systems and electronic security, locks specialist Assa is introducing its innovative CLIQ technology.
The new range of cylinders and keys includes all of the mechanical security benefits of Assa’s patented Twin-Combi system combined with the control, monitoring and programmable security of an access control system.
The special CLIQ software will now allow keys to be blocked electronically, with the protection of DES encryption ensuring secure digital communication between keys, cylinders and programming units. Intelligent keys contain a unique coded chip to combine mechanical and electronic security functions. The right to access is easily granted or blocked for individual keys.
