ADT apprentice impresses BSIA

The 20 year-old beat hundreds of other contenders from around the UK after impressing BSIA judges with his skills and achievements. He was presented with a commemorative plaque and a cheque for GB pound 75 by Lord Condon, former Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police and President of the BSIA.
Ian has already demonstrated his competence through a series of other internal awards and recognitions, such as gaining distinction in three of the City and Guilds courses he has completed.
Tony Rose, field line manager at ADT, Nottingham, nominated Ian for the award after spotting his high potential.
He said: “Ian has been with the company for three and a half years and has achieved great progress within that time. He is already capable of forming strong client relationships by offering advice at all stages of the installation process and has very good awareness of on-site conditions, including important health and safety matters. He is a credit to ADT and there is no doubt he deserves this award.”
