ADT dealership forges strong ties with police

The company has already given presentations to Hampshire and Derbyshire police forces, and the coming months will see seminars for Lincolnshire and the Metropolitan police.
Stuart Bulger, ADT’s police liaison manager, said the company had contacted all police forces offering their crime reduction officers and alarm administrators a presentation on the company’s dealership programme. The presentations are aimed at showing police how the dealerships work, to generate a greater understanding between the two organisations.
He explained the content of the presentations: "We explain why ADT invests so much time and effort in expanding its dealership programme. We also explain the contractual agreements, which should ensure standards remain high, and the guidelines which determine how the dealerships conduct their business and particularly how they approach potential customers."

The presentations culminate in a question and answer session, which helps to clarify points raised.
Said Bulger: "We take the comments and recommendations proposed by the police and the dealerships very seriously and this ensures that we do not become complacent over the development of our dealership programme."
