Adurion acquires Tag Company

Tag Company provides electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems used to reduce shoplifting and employee theft.

The company sells, installs and services exit and point-of-sale systems, accessories, tags, and labels using either swept-RF or acousto-magnetic technology, the two leading industry platforms.

It has installed three of the largest chain-wide EAS rollouts in the global marketplace in the last three years

London-based AGOF acquired TCI Ltd subsidiaries Tag Company UK Ltd and Tag Company US LLC for an undisclosed amount. It had previously invested in the company for growth capital.

Elected to the board of directors are Krom, Richard Cowan, Gerhard Beukes, Dr Jurg Gassmann, and Peter Mathis.
