ASIS lends support to new IFSEC India exhibition

Taking place from 25-27 October 2007 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, IFSEC India will cater for the whole of the South Asian region, one of the fastest growing markets in the world.

ASIS International is the largest international organisation security professionals. Founded in 1995, the society has more than 34,000 members around the world, covering a wide array of services and specialities within the security industry.

Iqbal Singh Jagdeva, chairman of ASIS International – New Delhi India Chapter 207, said: “We’re very pleased to be supporting the launch of IFSEC India 2007. The security industry in India is growing at an incredibly fast rate and we’re keen to help bring together major manufacturers, distributors and end-users, to explore the most cutting edge security products. We wish CMP Information great success in this major initiative.”

IFSEC India event director James Blue said: “The success of IFSEC is built upon partnerships with leading industry associations and trade bodies. We aim to continue this in India, and are proud to have the support of ASIS International – New Delhi India Chapter 207 as we enter this venture. We look forward to welcoming their members in October.”

As well as numerous feature areas, IFSEC India 2007 will include a comprehensive educational programme with a host of free seminar sessions and a conference covering the hot security topics from a number of angles.

The exhibition will be co-located with Internal Security, which is aimed at the police and paramilitary sector, currently undergoing an extensive modernisation programme.
