The new draft Australian Digital and Networking in CCTV Standard, which is going to be part of the AS4806 series, has been posted on the EL51 Television Standards Web site.
In the EL51 forum users can comment on all things relevant to CCTV, such as operations, technical, guidelines, codes of practice, etc.
Les Simmonds, Chairman of the Non Broadcast Television Committee of Standards Australia, said: “This standards process is very new, quite revolutionary and, we understand, a world first.”
In the CCTV section of <a href =”www.el51televisionstandards.com.au/cctv.html”>www.el51televisionstandards.com.au</a> users will have the opportunity to register, and make comment on, the existing Australian CCTV Standards, the new draft Digital and Networks in CCTV Standard, or, even suggest an entirely new standard.
