The stores are using Rainbow’s 1/3-inch colour DSP 460 line cameras. 28 stores have had the cameras installed. They are being used with eight-channel DVRs from Aventura Technologies.
Images are monitored remotely from a client control centre at Helsingborg.
Secure Vision International’s Kenneth Fagerland said: “Shrinkage is a significant problem for retail vendors who cannot afford downtime with equipment.
Rainbow units were chosen since they have proved consistently robust and reliable when using them in the past.”
