Axis Communications, along with integration partner Computer Network Limited, has partnered with RM, the leading supplier of ICT software, services and systems to the UK education sector.
Under the terms of the partnership, Axis will be the preferred supplier of key IP-surveillance equipment, as many schools across the UK choose to upgrade their security and surveillance systems.
CNL is already providing training to RM’s sales staff.
RM has noted an increase in enquiries about IP surveillance from school network managers over the last 12 months.
The company considered that the best way to support these customers was to work with a leading IP surveillance solution provider. David Mackley, senior product manager at RM, said: ” We have seen surging demand for our surveillance Start Pack which is enabled by CNL and Axis. Crime hot spots including stair wells, playgrounds, corridors and IT rooms are being monitored using these kits.”
