What happened
Following his departure from Axis Communications as regional director for Northern Europe, Phil Doyle has been appointed managing director of security systems integrators Quadrant Security Group, part of Synectics.
What he said
“I’m passionate about technology. But what really interests me is the service side of the industry, being able to build long term relationships with clients to really understand their business, their challenges and using this knowledge to advise on, and deliver, the best solutions. Historically that has been QSG’s strength and that is a great thing to build on. My task is to capitalise on this core strength and generate further industry awareness of the sheer breadth of the business’ ‘end-to-end’ security offering.”
Why this matters
Phil Doyle was a significant presence at Axis Communications and will be missed by the firm. With over 17 years experience in senior positions at Thales, TAG, Nortel, and Axis Communications, his appointment is a significant boost for Quadrant, which will benefit from his extensive experience with analogue-to-IP migration.
