BPT expands Impro team
Gareth Ellams takes responsibility for the Impro brand in the North, leaving a five-year business development role at Norbain.
“Impro is a very exciting and strong product,” he said.
“At Norbain I worked across all the different access control brands, but Impro was my favourite.”
Melissa Jenkins, who joins as Impro business development manager for the South, said she wants to establish Impro as the access control system of choice across the market.
“Impro has a good reputation at the top end of the market, but it’s often overlooked for smaller systems,” she said.
Jenkins joins BPT from HID, where she worked as director of sales for UK and Ireland.
Both new business development managers will be responsible for promoting Impro proximity access control systems to distributors, installers and specifiers.
Steve Petchey and Mark Warman have also been added to the company’s technical support team – with Impro as their speciality. A total of nine technicians are now on hand to offer engineers support.
Janine Lewis, BPT’s sales & marketing director, said she was delighted with the new team.
“Impro has exactly the same support structure now as the BPT product range and we can promise the same high levels of service that customers have come to expect from BPT together with great products and value.
“We hope that customers will enjoy doing business with us.”
