A range of technologies has been employed for “the best accuracy available on the market”.
Adaptive Threshold Discrimination technology reduces the number of nuisance alarms by continually averaging background noise and adjusting the alarm threshold, allowing sensitivity to be automatically adjusted to suit site conditions. Double curtain coverage ensures that alarms caused by, for example, air turbulence are eliminated as any signal received at the same time by the two curtains will be rejected. Internal temperature compensation prevents internal condensation.
