CallCare allows a patient, staff or the public to summon assistance by a single button press or pull cord.
The system confirms a call has been generated by a light and sounder.
The hard wired system, requiring two-wire connection, is fully addressable and is said to be easy to install. It includes an LED numeric display controller – up to 32 or 99-way – and a choice of alarm triggers.
It can be set so that selected trigger points have priority over others until the ‘patient’ has been seen and the call reset.
The system is suitable for installation at hotels, sports centres, nursing and care homes, surgeries, treatment rooms and court rooms.
Installers are increasingly getting involved in the growing social care alarms sector as the skills needed are similar to those required for security alarm installation and the equipment is similar in principle.
