A woman who had apparently been dumped by her boyfriend of two years, decide to take her revenge by driving his car into the bowling alley in which he worked.
Claire Holley was given a 9-month suspended sentence after pleading guilty to dangerous driving. She caused around GB pound 14,000 worth of damage to the Hollywood Bowl, in Bolton, as she ploughed his Ford Focus through the bollards and glass doors of the building.
She had been drinking at the time and took her ‘revenge’ after her boyfriend changed his status on Facebook to ‘single’, the court heard.
She also admitted to driving over the alcohol limit, and was banned from driving for 18-months.
