The slim-line SD-880RC36 is compatible with a range of door entry systems and can be used in commercial and residential applications. Featuring a 5.5″ TFT screen, the hands-free monitor is said to deliver a clear, full colour picture of every visitor with a resolution of 960 x 284 pixels.
The product, which weighs 0.8kg, is being marketed as an attractive alternative to the bulky video handsets traditionally used with door entry systems.
SRS managing director Steve Stuart described it as “the most stylish full colour system currently available”.
“This powerful monitor sets a new standard for quality in the door entry marketplace,” he said.
The monitor’s automatic connection feature allows users to walk up to the unit and speak without having to press any buttons. It also comes with an adjustable door entry timer that lets visitors gain access with a single key press.
