“3GS is well established as one of the leading integrated solutions and Norbain believes that systems integration should not just be a benefit offered by a few specialist companies,” said Dave Kelly, Norbain’s divisional director of intruder products. “It is another part of our business that we will be encouraging security installers to develop.”
When installers use the 3GS system, they will be able to provide integrated intruder alarm (wired and wireless), access control, SMS messaging and secure network connectivity, and easily link in standard video equipment from leading manufacturers.
Europlex director Simon Jerome says as a result, engineers will no longer have to use a PC-based solution, or need to install hard-wired inputs and outputs. “Europlex’s CiTec device allows CCTV systems to be integrated seamlessly with the 3GS intruder alarm and access control system,” he said.
