Manufacturers of security smoke screens, Concept, are showing an early prototype of the next generation of smoke screens a Security Essen 2012.
Due to be released in early 2013 (possibly around the time of IFSEC International 2013?), the new range is said to be smaller and more powerful than their current smoke screen generators.
Concept are rumoured to be addressing environmental concerns with the Smoke Screen range by introducing a brand new power saving feature and the option to put the smoke screen on standby mode during the day.
Concept are also said to be responding to feedback from installers by incorporating hinged side-panels into the design for ease of access making maintenance access simpler.
Concept Smoke Screen currently produce a range of security smoke screens that create a barrier of dense, but breathable smoke. The smoke is harmless, but leaves thieves unable to see what they’re hoping to steal.
Among the current models are the E-Series, described as ‘the ultimate smoke generator’ and the entry level Rapid Range for smaller premises and budgets.
