Designed and tested to Loss Prevention Standard LPS 1175 for applications where there’s a real risk of attack and loss of property – such as retail premises or banks and building societies – Crawford Amber’s Protector range of security shutters offers an aesthetic security solution for end users.
The shutters may be completely hidden during trading, satisfying most local authority environmental and town planning criteria while offering a proven level of security not available with traditional shutters. They’re manufactured from 60 mm-deep extruded, double-skinned flat laths which are twice as strong as conventional steel laths.
Shutter systems in the Protector series all have tensile steel reinforcing bars built into the laths, offering additional rigidity and improved resistance to attacks involving cutting tools.
