This is set to become one of DHL’s biggest air cargo hubs handling express shipments for all of Europe.

Since DHL’s office facilities at Leipzig were already equipped with a security system working with contactless HID iClass identification technology, the task was to find another system that could integrate with it. The two firms equipped 350 doors with new Salto XS4 escutcheons, which are compatible with the existing wall readers, enabling DHL staff to continue using their existing ID cards. The next step is to integrate the use of the XS4 product into all DHL offices in Germany.
