Tuesday 24 June is the date for the third Door Supervision Network Meeting, to be held at the Southview Park Hotel, Burgh Road, Skegness from 11.00 am through to 4.00 pm.
Topics on the agenda include an update on Security Industry Authority (SIA) regulation and licensing, a look at the head door supervisor qualification, door staff and the use of CCTV and funding for door supervisor training.
Current research projects being undertaken a Leicester University will be reviewed by Andy Walker and there’ll be a dedicated section examining the new Corporate Manslaughter legislation. The day will conclude with a Question Time-style debating session.
SIA chief executive Mike Wilson will be in attendance, as will members of the police service, trainers, local authority representatives and delegates from the larger leisure organisations.
