D-Line claims to have solved a major fire safety compliance issue with a mini-trunking clip, which Warrington Fire has signed of as complying with BS 5839 Part 1.
The D-Line F clips can secure two 1.5mm two-core fire cables within the clip, for straight runs or drops to break glass points.
Peter Hart, director of Phoenix Total Solutions which has experience dealing with the clips, explains their appeal in the field. “For fire installations the D-Line F Clip is fantastic. It is much easier to fit than traditional P clips, while achieving BS compliance. Our installers appreciate the ease of fixing while customers prefer the appearance we are offering with D-Line. We use D-Line for all surface soft skin cable installations.”
The range offers seven different profiles to suit different aesthetic requirements.
