Industry veteran Westropp became non-executive chairman of Norbain in 1996, and was executive chairman 1997 to 1999. Along with current Norbain Managing Director Alun John, Westropp working on the implementation of a GB pound 55 million management buy-out, rebranding and demerger of the company, which became Upperpoint Manufacturing Limited and Upperpoint Distribution Limited.
Today Westropp is chairman of Abacus plc, the electronic components distribution company and a non-executive director of The Throgmorton Trust PLC, an investment trust specialising in smaller and mid-cap UK listed companies. He is also chairman of Belvoir Cordials Ltd., a leading supplier of organic soft drinks.
Scyron’s business is centred on intelligence and incident-based surveillance.
