Griffid Small business Platform is aimed at small-to-medium enterprises so they can benefit from IP surveillance without investing in large-scale solutions. Capable of managing either four or six countries, the software can also deliver images onto PDAs.
“Griffid Small Business gives the possibility to anticipate rapidly on thefts, fraud at the cash registry and other events that are normally not detected”, says Edwin Roobol, sales director EMEA at Griffid. “The SME market is now able to switch from a DVR based system into a professional fully digital video surveillance system with a limited number of cameras. The system can also be expanded to multiple locations at a later stage and by that protecting the investment in the future.”
The application is said to be hardware independent and supports video compression technologies like Motion JPEG, MPEG-4, H.263 and H.264.
