Guide to risk assessment options

[

A new guide to fire safety training and risk assessment solutions for businesses and building managers has been launched by Chubb Fire.

The prospectus is designed to clarify the legislative and regulatory reforms which came into effect last year, and highlights the various fire risk assessment solutions available to businesses to help meet these requirements.

“Carrying out a Fire Risk Assessment may sound like a daunting task, but just a few simple steps to reduce risks can prevent fires breaking out,” explains Suzanne Donovan, marketing and communications director of Chubb Fire. “Chubb Fire offers various options to help businesses with their risk assessment, ranging from specialist consultancy services to self-assessment tools, and training solutions for organisations both large and small.

“Certain businesses, for example those recognised as being medium to high risk workplaces, might need to draw upon the experience and expertise of the Chubb consultants, all ex-senior ranking fire brigade officers. Businesses with low to medium fire risks, however, may prefer to carry out an online risk assessment, guiding them through the fire risk assessment process through a series of simple questions, at their own pace,” she added.
