Hackney contract for Carlisle Security
The four year contract, which will start in April 2009, will see Carlisle Security providing corporate security as well as mobile patrols, keyholding services and complementary policing activities on a number of the Borough’s housing estates.
Paul Trendall, Carlisle Security’s commercial director, said: “Hackney is a vibrant, multi-cultural community with much to offer those who live there, and also has an important role to play in London 2012. We are thrilled at the prospect of being able to work with the Borough and people of Hackney.
“We are determined that we shall provide the Borough with the type of security service they have the right to demand from the private security industry: a service which all concerned will be proud of.”
Coming soon after Carlisle Security’s recent success at the Security Excellence Awards – winning the Best Security Partnering Initiative of the Year category – 2008 has been a year of success for the company.
The new contract with Hackney will reinforce Carlisle Security’s presence in East London, which has also recently seen the deployment of Enforcement Officers on National Express East Anglia (NXEA) train services into Liverpool Street via their WAGN and Metro Lines.
