Honnan installed as regional manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland at Axis Security

Honnan, who has worked in the security sector for more than 30 years now, has extensive management experience having worked at such firms as Corps Security, Chubb Security Personnel and Reliance Security.

He has seen the development of the Axis Security business over the past few years and is pleased to join what is proving to be an ever-successful business model.

“It’s a well formed and robust business,” said Peter. “It’s built on the solid foundations that prioritise, above all, the importance of delivering exceptional customer service while at the same time looking after its employees. Not only that, but Axis Security is also very well supported by the senior management. That’s something which can be lacking within the industry.”

Axis Security, which was recently named Guarding Company of the Year at the 2011 Security Excellence Awards, has become the fastest-growing company of its kind.

Indeed, it has a proven track record in providing high-level security for a number of prestigious organisations including AG Barr in Scotland and FG Wilson in Northern Ireland.

Main priorities for Honnan

As regional manager, one of Peter Honnan’s first priorities is to visit customers, and he has already been impressed with the response to date.

“Axis Security is a growing business that’s expanding in a sustainable way,” he urged. “It’s part of my challenge as regional manager to engineer further growth in Scotland and Northern Ireland.”

Honna continued: “We have recently moved to new and modern premises in Livingston which is strategically placed for our commercial and operations teams serving the Scottish region. I hope to build the sales team throughout 2012 to make sure that the Axis Security name and reputation is known across the territory.”

Commenting on Honnan’s appointment, group managing director Jonathan Levine explained: “I’m very pleased to welcome Peter to the regional management team. He shares our philosophy and is well placed to support our continued success in Scotland and Northern Ireland going forward.”
