I4S video: Concept Smoke Screen features on BBC Crimewatch reconstruction
In January this year, an eagle-eyed CCTV operative, monitoring the daily comings and goings of the Wigan inhabitants, was suddenly struck by a strange sight: a group wearing balaclavas heading for the Goldsmith’s store on the high street.
They’d attempted to use hammers and metal bars to break open jewellery cases, but were driven out of the store by the security fog within about 15 seconds.
