– Borer’s intelligent smart card reader is a complete door card access control solution providing full online and offline card validation with decision-making capabilities ‘at the point of swipe’. – Pelco and AMAG Technology have partnered to create a complete product integration of video, access control, intrusion and visitor management, biometrics and other security and building management functions. Pelco’s DX8000 and DX8100 DVRs and AMAG’s Symmetry access control system now work together to provide a solution for the recording, storage and retrieval of video-based intrusion and access control events. – Paxton Access has launched the EasyProx compact, all-in-one lock and access control system. Due to the fact that it boasts a battery power source, this solution takes far less time to install than conventional systems that require mains wiring. The EasyProx compact is suitable for applications in Halls of Residence, sports clubs and standard office developments.

– BPT Security Systems has launched the Impro DropBox, a card-reading terminal for the Impro4, Impro16 and Impro64+ proximity access control systems. The DropBox is suitable for both internal and external use, although remote exits (such as those found in secure car parks) will benefit most from the addition of the system. When leaving a site, visitors simply push their personal tag into the DropBox reader located at the exit. The tag is then read as normal and exit granted, with the tag being retained.
