IP set to outsell analogue in two years, Mayflex predicts
Speaking at IFSEC today, director of sales Gary Harmer said that demand for the two technologies was already at about 50/50, which was an increase from a few years ago where interest in IP was only at 20%. However, the technology is still in the hands of the product developers, he said.
Customers to the Mayflex stand, in hall 4, C20, were typically split between the traditional security installer nervous about migration and the systems integrator who, having worked with IP already for a number of years, wanted to know what extra services the IP advisor could offer.
Mayflex’s advantage on the market, Harmer told info4security, was that it was ‘not trying to be all things to all men’. “We are in a unique position tailoring to the full size of the IP market,” he said.
“Whatever your knowledge or experience, Mayflex has a dedicated and knowledgeable team that offers support all the way through the sales cycle and we will be at IFSEC to assist anyone who wishes to know more about IP in general or specifically to find out more about our IP product offering.”
