The famed Northern Irish WINES and spirits distributor/retailer Philip Russell has implemented a custom-designed and supported telematics system to protect its drivers, delivery vehicles and their contents – primarily against the risks associated with hi-jacks and thefts.
Multi-input and output telematics units supplied by Bell Security have been installed on all the company’s vehicles, reporting back in real time to Bell’s telematics bureau partner in the province – guarding and building monitoring specialist Lisburn Security.
The system offers a hands-free voice communication capability, as well as driver panic buttons and an ‘automatic sealing’ function.
