The Arthur Street Management Company worked in tandem with installer First Security to introduce two lanes of Fastlane Plus R400 MA barrier-arm turnstiles (including a wider lane for wheelchair access).
The benefit of having a drop arm rather than a retracting glass wing means that the pedestal width is greatly reduced. This helps to maximise the number of lanes in a narrow aperture.
The fast-acting barrier arms physically deter any unauthorised access. The combination of these features coupled with the INet 7 access control system on site helps prevent the most common of access control violations including tailgating and pass-back.
