A wide area sounder rated at 140dB(A) at 1 metre is available from E2S, the specialist manufacturer of audible and visual warning devices.
Applications for the A140 sounder include industrial and civil engineering sites, quarries, airfields, or other areas where warnings have to be sounded over a wide area.
The electronic sounder is continuously rated and weighs 25kg. It has 32 alarm tones available in three stages, and is powered either from 24V dc or 115V ac/230V ac. For 360 degrees coverage, a cluster of three units, remotely controlled by telephone or radio switching, can be pole-mounted. Any combination of tones can be allocated to the three stages, and switching between stages can be done remotely via volt free clean contacts. All A140s are automatically synchronised.
