Audio Video Supply’s MEG-IP5 MegaVideo technology should deliver full motion HDTV resolution of 2560 x 1600 in either day or night. With a cinema compatible frame rate of up to 15fps, the company claim it will allow ultra-forensic zooming even after the event.
The MEG-IP5 .50″ optical format IP camera also has a sensitivity up to 1 lux @ F1.4, which should enable real-time motion detection in up to 64 separate zones for each channel.
Designers say that the product’s low-light mode offers programmable motion blurring controls as well as electronic image rotation and the usual PTZ capability.
The data rate can reach up to 55 Mbps with a 100Base-T Ethernet Network Interface, in a camera weighing around one pound.
The MEG-IP5 is now available from Audio Video Supply alongside their range of lenses, DVRs, and plasmas.
