Mid-range DVR offers “professional performance”
Marketed as a mid-range model with high-end capabilities, it combines high-quality recording with system management features like alarm handling, camera control and device checking.
The Divar MR offers real-time recording and playback in CIF resolution, high-resolution live viewing and 4CIF for when greater detail is needed. It can also compress video to MPEG-4 to reduce storage requirements.
Video can be archived to memory devices like USB sticks or an optional DVD writer, and an archive player allows exported video to be played back on any PC without installing additional software. Image authentication allows archived video to be used in court.
Bosch says the DVR can be used as part of an integrated or standalone system. It can be controlled by the Bosch IntuiKey keyboard, a mouse, a remote control or the unit’s front panel controls.
The Divar MR Control Center software is used to remotely manage the system, allowing live viewing and control, playback, configuration and remote alarm notification.
The embedded design of the DVR should offer a higher level of security against network attacks than traditional systems.
Two models of the Bosch Divar MR are available (8 and 16 channel), with a variety of hard drive capacities. To find out more, click here .
