Milestone, one of the pioneers of networked video for security applications, has decided the UK market is developing sufficiently to warrant a dedicated presence. The UK office is to be headed up by Glenn Fletcher, who was previously manager at Gardiners integrated systems division, where he set up the company’s Network Video Integration Partner Scheme.
Part of his objectives include improving knowledge about open platform IP video in the security industry. His brief includes creating a team of specialists, both from installer and distributor companies, who can offer solutions for video-enabling their businesses.
