California based IQ Vision makes the IQeye range of megapixel network cameras. The alliance is part of a programme that escalates the technical and commercial collaboration between hardware partners and Milestone Systems. The superior resolution from megapixel cameras is a big impetus for the increase in IP video installations, according to Milestone.
Examples of installations of IQinVision cameras include those at Temple University in Pennsylvania, Loyola University in Chicago.
And F&M Banks throughout California. When one F&M branch was robbed shortly after the installation of the cameras and the system administrator was away, the bank’s staff management were still able to quickly find the video of the robbery and export in to the police.
