Minister for Crime and Security to speak at ASIS Europe 2012
Before entering Parliament, Brokenshire was a partner at a large international law firm where he advised a range of companies, businesses and financial institutions on company law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.
He’s the Member of Parliament for Old Bexley and Sidcup, is a former Member of the House of Commons Constitutional Affairs Select Committee (which he served from 2005-2006) and was the shadow minister for crime reduction from 2006-2010.
Born in 1968 in Southend-on-Sea, Brokenshire attended Davenant Foundation Grammar School in Loughton, Essex. He also attended the Cambridge Centre for Sixth Form Studies before going to university in Exeter where he graduated with an honours degree in law.
Details about the 2012 ASIS European Security Conference
The 2012 ASIS European Security Conference and Exhibition will kick off on Sunday 15 April with the President’s Reception.
Over the following two days, delegates will be able to choose between 44 high-level educational sessions divided across four parallel tracks.
