Personnel and students alike felt unsafe and, with close on 100 buildings, the task of providing an efficient surveillance system was something of a challenge.
Following an extensive theft of computers, the University’s management team decided to specify the open platform Mirasys V Series security system (featuring local data acquisition, analysis and recording in combination with effective central management and remote monitoring tools).
The system includes Mirasys RMC, a dedicated solution for the centralised monitoring and control of several remote sites. The solutions offered to the client are both scalable and flexible, including such powerful features as advanced motion detection, secure multi-disk recording and one-click media clip export to CD/DVD.
