State of Physical Access Trend Report 2024

Nedap recruits Business Development Manager

In his new role, Joachim Mahlstedt’s primary focus is to extend the market position of AEOS, the company’s flagship access control system.

Reporting directly to Arjan Bouter, Sales Director for Germany, Mahlstedt will support Nedap’s certified business partners in the country.

“I am very excited to be joining this active and dynamic division of Nedap. The technology Nedap offers is state-of-the-art and has a clear competitive edge,” he said.

“My international experience in Business Development within the IT and Telco sector together with my studies in the Netherlands offers a great advantage to further strengthen AEOS’ market position in Germany.”

After Mahlstedt finished his degree in International Economic Studies at Maastricht University, he was employed as a manager at an unnamed American IT company. When he later returned to Germany he gained experience as a Business Development Manager by establishing the German division of an international consultancy company.

Established in the Netherlands in 1929, Nedap employs 600 people worldwide.
