New biohazard spill kits available

The kits are designed for the emergency cleaning of spillages such as vomit, blood and urine. GreenValet claims that usage of its kits can reduce response time and consequently reduce the risk of infection to both staff and the public.

The kits are designed for locations and times when professional cleaning services are not available and include disposable personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, specialised absorption and infection control agents and sealable waste bags.

GreenValet’s new kits come in light-weight, high-visibility cases and contain equipment and materials for dealing with up to six individual spillages.

Two types of pack are available, one for dealing with blood spills and for use with vomit, urine and other bodily fluids. Full instructions are included and refills are available.

GreenValet currently supplier biohazard kits to over 2,500 NHS hospital wards and departments.
