l Simon Powell of Servocell, the writer of our access control feature on piezo actuators in this month’s edition (see “Quiet revolution”, page 99), has been named as MD of the company. Former business development and technology director, Powell has been in the engineering design industry for 20 years. He wants to lead the company from leading edge research to high volume manufacturing with global sales.
