Robin Hughes, described by the company as an industry veteran, joins Avigilon following a six-and-a-half year stint as Sales Director at Envisage Technology. There, he worked on numerous security projects with the Government, police and military organisations.
“We’re extremely pleased that Robin is going to lead our sales efforts in EMEA,” said Avigilon’s President and CEO, Alexander Fernandes.
“In addition to possessing a comprehensive knowledge of the application of high-definition surveillance systems he is a very relationship-oriented individual with a great track record in the high-end security industry.”
Based in the UK, Hughes will be managing sales activities in the company’s EMEA markets. In addition to regularly visiting customers, integrators, and consultants throughout these territories, he will act as a liaison between the field and the Avigilon head office in regards to product development and large-scale sales opportunities and projects.
Hughes said, “There are a lot of exciting opportunities ahead in EMEA. Avigilon’s High Definition Surveillance System offers breakthrough imaging performance and is uniquely able to satisfy the client requirements of this marketplace.
