New video display wall from Xtralis
The Adpro Video Wall can feature 16 separate monitors, each displaying up to 20 split screen views.
“Many existing video and alarm transmission systems use single operator screens to view alarm events and random viewing patrols,” said Jeff Kitching, sales director for the Adpro range.
“But sometimes, it is necessary to increase the level of security for short periods to combat potential threats that may disrupt normal business. The cost of providing a temporary guard is expensive and they are not always available at short notice.”
Using a ‘drag and drop’ function, operators can select camera feeds and position them wherever they like on the wall. Xtralis claims configuration settings and video wall layouts can then be stored to save time on future setups.
Site alarms are displayed on the wall automatically to alert operators. When dealt with, the incident should return to its usual position on the wall.
Kitching said, “ADPRO Video Wall is a new way to provide all your remote video monitoring requirements and immediate real-time monitoring of remote site cameras without interfering with normal operator working.”
