• Checkpoint Systems has completed its install of 3G Electronic Article Surveillance technology into the last remaining Sainsbury’s stores across the UK. Sainsbury’s was keen to have the tags applied at source rather than during the retail side of the chain.
• Morse Watchmans’ KeyWatcher access control system for key management has been installed at The Shores Resort & Spa in Florida, USA. All keys are kept in one area, and the system is integrated onto the network using Microsoft Outlook, providing instant reports.
• DVTel’s intelligent Security Operations Center has been deployed by cargo business Transportes Aguila de Oro to provide video and access control at its offices in Monterey, Santa Rosa, and Laredo, USA. The system is comprised of 100 cameras and around 75 access points in several buildings in the three cities.
• Custom Consoles has designed and installed four bespoke radio studio desks for Broadcasting House, Llandaff, the Cardiff headquarters of BBC Wales. Two desks are horseshoe shaped, giving operators a three-way surround workspace, and two are L-shaped for use in radio bulletin studios.
