The PC retains all of its usual functions. Adding the EZ-UDVR is as simple as installing an additional program.
Each EZ-UDVR unit can be used with up to four standard CCTV cameras and features ‘plug and play’ USB connection to a PC running the software supplied. This allows a full screen view from a single camera, or up to four camera views simultaneously. Users are able to allocate the percentage of their hard drive to be made available for the PC for recording and image storage.
Two units can run in parallel, allowing up to eight cameras to be monitored through a single PC. The licence-free software can be distributed to other PCs for viewing across the local area network, or via the internet using each unit’s IP address for enhanced security. Recorded information can also be uploaded to other computers on the network for viewing or archiving.
