The event’s security was organised by Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau. The project began at the 80,000-seat People’s Stadium, where the opening ceremony was held. Hikvision supplied its DS-8016HFI-S Network DVRs, which worked with more than 140 cameras at 4CIF video resolution. It also provided technical support for video and audio.
The DVRs were installed in four of the main stadiums. The others were the Shanghai Jiangwan stadium, which hosted the closing ceremony, as well as the shanghai Changning Stadium and the Shanghai Jing’an Stadium.
